About us
Who We Are
How it Works
We want to provide a place where people can have fun, feel comfortable, and have their needs met. That’s why we’re divided into two sections: the front coffee shop and the back gaming area. In the front, it’s a regular coffee shop with food, drinks, and free seating available. In the back we have a pay-to-play board game library available for people to use. “How does the pay-to-play work?” you may ask. Just pay $7 per person, get a complimentary drink, and choose the game(s) you want to play! As we like to say, café in the front, board game party in the back.
Why Us?
Looking for a place to hang out with friends, “friends,” family, or people you have to spend time with?
Want access to hundreds of board games without committing the thousands of dollars and precious floor space at home?
Craving a pick-me-up in the form of tea, wine, cider, beer, espresso drinks, etc…after 5 p.m.?
Come Enjoy!

In 2020, I (Rebekah) had the pleasure of meeting someone who would soon become one of my dearest friends. Our connection was instant, sparked by our shared interests and the discovery that we were remarkably alike–so much so that we playfully declared ourselves “85% the same person.” Yet, as our friendship deepened, we realized that, while the 85% in common made us good friends, it was the 15% that was different that made us great friends. From this realization the name for The 15% Board Game Café was born. Our mission is to celebrate and cherish the differences that make each person special while bringing them together with a common theme: games.
